Boy Scout, Cub Scout & Venturing Roundtable Meetings are held the second Wednesday of each

month September through April at 7:30 PM at

The second Wednesday of May is District Dinner, the second Wednesday of June is District Kickoff, and one

Saturday in August is Training Blitz. All three events at locations TBA. There is no District meeting in July.

Cuyahoga county has been added to the quarantine list for transporting firewood out of the county. No firewood is to leave Cuyahoga county under any circumstance. Do not to take any firewood to Beaumont Scout Reservation. If you carry firewood from Cuyahoga county to Ashtabula county you could be instrumental in moving the emerald ash borer out to the state line. The current quarantine will not stop the borer, but will buy some time. The fine for moving firewood out of a quarantined county is $4000, and Scouter Ellen Bertel reports that some officials are looking for an opportunity to make an example by imposing that fine on offenders.
